The Adamson property, located outside of the city of Sharpsburg, plans for more than 1,000 single-family homes

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (July 21, 2022) – Walton Global, a real estate investment and land asset management company with US$3.6 billion under management, has closed on 517 acres outside the city of Sharpsburg in Coweta County, Georgia. The land called Adamson, planned for a master plan community, is expected to add more than 1,000 new single-family homes to the area.

The property is within the Atlanta metropolitan area and within a 50-minute commute to downtown. It is also located within 20 minutes of Newnan and Peachtree City, which have strong employment concentrations. There is a notable school district in the area as well as proximity to recreation, shopping and job opportunities.

“When we were searching for land within this MSA, we felt the Adamson property would support locals and out-of-state buyers alike which have shown a strong interest in finding homes in this growing part of the Atlanta region” said Michael Viers, Land Manager for Georgia and Tennessee at Walton Global. “The location is prime for everything this area has to offer.”

Along with the residences, the planned community will include a slate of amenities that will appeal to all types of homebuyers. Parks and playgrounds will be complemented by walking trails. There also is a proposed master amenity center with a community clubhouse and pool.

Walton Global has continued success in Georgia to support the ongoing population growth and home demand in the state. In 2022, Walton sold land to a leading homebuilder in the city of Dallas in Paulding County that is slated to bring an anticipated 652 homes to the market and land in Braselton in Jackson County that is set for approximately 335 single-family residences.
