The Master Plan is 7.4 km to Interstate 485, the ring road surrounding and providing access to Charlotte. It is 27.4 km southeast of Uptown Charlotte on US Route 74. It is expected to benefit from the new Monroe Bypass which will run 2.4 km west of the Property.
The Master Plan was annexed and zoned into the Town of Indian Trail. It is approved as a Conditional Planned Unit Development zoning district with a Village Center Overlay. The planned development is proposed to be designed under the Town's Traditional Neighborhood Development principles which incorporate compact design, mixed-use, pedestrian-oriented developments with parks, greens, and squares. The community will offer a mix of single-family detached homes, townhomes and commercial use.
