Walton Global Expands Florida Footprint with Strategic Acquisition in Charlotte County’s Environmentally Conscious Growth Corridor

New Coral Lakes Project to Bring 169 Residential Lots Adjacent to Charlotte Harbor Preserve

Walton Global, a global real estate investment and land asset management company, today announced the acquisition of 169 finished residential lots in Charlotte County, Florida. The Coral Lakes property, fronting Burt Store Road and adjacent to the Charlotte Harbor Preserve State Park, is now part of Walton’s Finished Lot Program (FLP), a part of the broader Builder Land Finance (BLF) structure.

Walton’s BLF framework provides homebuilder clients with “just‑in‑time” inventory by acquiring land identified by builders and holding it under phase‑based option agreements. Walton then delivers finished lots as each development phase is completed—charging a premium that generates semi‑annual income to investors while returning principal proportionally as homes are sold. The newly expanded Finished Lot Program supports continued lot‑banking in high‑growth U.S. markets by enabling strategic co‑investment in finished‑lot transactions.

“Coral Lakes is a great example of the type of opportunity we look for—land that offers both a strong growth outlook and a real sense of place,” said Shane Doherty, Senior Vice President of Real Estate at Walton Global. “The proximity to protected natural areas and the character of the surrounding community provide a competitive product to complement the region’s expansion, making this an ideal fit for our portfolio.”

The Coral Lakes site lies adjacent to the 45,000‑acre Charlotte Harbor Preserve and the expansive Willow master planned community, perfectly aligned with Walton’s strategy of supporting environmentally‑aligned growth. Local demographics include well‑educated, active retirees and younger family segments drawn to the region’s focus on sustainable infrastructure, bike‑friendly developments, and access to parks and trails.

Under the Finished Lot Program, the lots will be phased out to builders as they complete entitlements and horizontal development, generating a semiannual yield for investors, alongside scheduled return of capital tied to home closings.

The Coral Lakes project is slated for residential development, with further project details to be released as entitlements progress. To learn more about Walton Global’s investment offerings and extensive land portfolio, visit www.walton.com.
