Walton maintains a diverse inventory of developable land in North America that is positioned for residential, industrial, and commercial development, available to the building and developing industry.


OUR APPROACH
The approach to acquiring development land begins with conducting in-depth research of the local area, incorporating real estate trends, zoning restrictions, nearby amenities, buyer demand, and more. Utilizing third-party entities including homebuilders and developers, Walton identifies development land in the path of growth that meets the following preliminary criteria:
- Regions of long-term, sustainable population and consistent employment growth
- Regions that feature diverse economies and potential for sustainable economic growth
- Sub-markets that exhibit a limited supply of serviced lot inventory and properties nearing the receipt of, or that have already received, the necessary zoning for development
THE PROCESS
Walton’s goal is to accommodate homebuilders and developers that acquire land and initiate development. Leveraging our core capabilities, we manage the entitlement process and prepare land for development. Our strategy is to monetize land assets on behalf of our investors by selling land to a diverse range of stakeholders, including national, regional, and local homebuilders, developers, and institutions through a variety of exit structures tailored to meet specific market needs.
