As the CEO of Walton Global, William (Bill) Doherty has been central to the company’s strategic direction over the past two decades. His pioneering guidance has propelled the expansion of Walton’s investment activities, launching the company’s US, Asian and European operations. Under his leadership, Walton has become a leading North American real estate investment and development group. Mr. Doherty oversees the company’s continued involvement in land use planning and development, and is deeply involved in forging Walton’s alliances with leading international investment banks, broker-dealers, financial advisors and institutional investors.

Kate Kaminski is Chief Operating Officer of Walton Global. She is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company and ensuring that all systems, resources and people are in place to achieve Walton’s goals. Prior to joining Walton in 2007, Ms. Kaminski worked in sales and marketing for new homebuilder Elite Communities in Phoenix, Arizona, and was involved in strategic sales development and communications for a major US retailer.

Rebecca Bruce is Chief Financial Officer for the Walton Global with over 15 years of experience. She manages financial strategy and the accounting, audit, treasury and tax functions with a team of professional accountants. Ms. Bruce joined Walton in 2009 as Corporate Controller and was promoted to Senior Vice President, Finance and Accounting in 2014. Prior to joining Walton, Ms. Bruce was a Manager in the Assurance and Advisory Business Services practice for Ernst & Young, LLP, where she articled and received her Chartered Accountant designation.

Ryan J. Kretschmer is executive vice president, Law & General Counsel, for Walton Global. Mr. Kretschmer, who joined Walton in 2011, manages and provides advice with respect to legal affairs in and relating to the U.S. Prior to joining Walton, he practiced corporate, securities and real estate law with an international law firm in Phoenix, Arizona.

Todd Woodhead is executive vice president of Capital Markets. He oversees United States business operations, maintains and grows client and partner relationships, and assists in the execution of investment strategies. Prior to joining Walton, Mr. Woodhead was a regional sales manager for a Fortune 500 high tech firm in California, where he managed both the financial and high-tech markets.

Paul Megler is executive vice president, Portfolio Management & Strategic Partnerships. He leads the growth of the company’s homebuilding and build-to-rent (BTR) partner relationships working with the asset management team on new acquisitions and sales within the exisiting Walton portfolio. In addition, Mr. Megler assists with institutional capital raising efforts for the Walton funds globally.

Prior to joining Walton, Mr. Megler served as Vice President, Real Estate & Business Development at KB Home (NYSE: KBH) where his focus was mergers and acquisitions, national land strategy and strategic relationships. He was also a Managing Director with JMP Securities, LLC where he specialized in real estate investment banking for homebuilders, land developers and single family rental companies.

Mr. Megler holds a Master of Business Administration from the UCLA Anderson School of Management and Bachelor of Science degrees in accounting and management information systems from Miami University.

Tony joined Walton in 2001 as an Account Manager in Canada responsible for the Sales and Marketing of the Walton Land Investments. Included in his responsibilities was the training, marketing and operations. His role was in seeking new partners and raising capital for equity investments in future projects, collaborated with Walton Global and Walton Development and Management L.P. and Mr. Deegan also was responsible for promoting Walton’s prospectus-based products to IIROC brokers in Western Canada. Tony has held a variety of senior-level positions within the company. Prior to taking on his current role, most recently was COO for Walton in South East Asia from April 2018 and President of Walton International Group (Canada) from May 2015 to April 2018. Tony has also held senior-level positions in Channel Development, Operations, Marketing and Sales.

Prior to joining Walton, Tony has held a variety of sales and marketing-based roles for major companies as an account manager for Christie Brown & Co. a division of Nabisco from 1991-1995, and as an Account Manager at Lipton, a division of Unilever Canada from 1995-2001.

Matt Keister is the senior vice president of Business Development. His primary responsibilities include the expansion and implementation of new initiatives throughout Walton Global.

Matt originally joined Walton in 2004, where he established the company’s first U.S. office in Phoenix, Arizona. He was also responsible for developing strategic partnerships throughout the country while growing the operation as Chief Operating Officer and then President of Walton USA. In 2015, Matt moved into a global leadership role where he supported various regions in their growth and product development. Matt left Walton in 2017 to pursue other opportunities and rejoined the organization in May 2021.

Matt’s previous experience includes living and working in Hong Kong and Beijing where he was responsible for the sales and marketing of a regional sports management firm overseeing events throughout Asia. During that time, Matt supported the establishment of the Chinese National Basketball Association and led the operations for the league which had 8 teams throughout mainland China in its inaugural year.

Clara Chong is the senior vice president of Human Resources leading the Human Resources (HR) department for the Walton Global for North America responsible for recruitment, payroll, benefits and commission payments. She provides overall guidance to the operational activities of the organization while collaborating with the various entities within the organization. In addition to her primary role, Clara is a Privacy Officer ensuring compliance with Walton’s privacy policy and applicable privacy legislation, she is also a notary public and a mortgage broker for the Walton Group of Companies.

Clara joined Walton in 1993. Since that time, she held various positions within the company including Director of Asia Operations and General Manager for Walton’s Hong Kong office; she played a key role in helping build Walton’s administrative operations in Southeast Asia. Prior to joining Walton, Clara held senior office administration positions in many well-known, multinational companies in Asia including a major trading company, a petroleum manufacturing company and a travel agency.

Raised and educated in Hong Kong, Clara received a Master of Business Administration from Asia International Open University.

Hector Meza is the vice president of Real Estate Transactions for Walton. In this role, Hector assists with the review of diligence material for real estate acquisitions and dispositions. He also manages the title and escrow process for all real estate transactions and real estate finance transactions pertaining to U.S. properties. Hector has been with Walton since 2008 and has 23 years of prior experience working with a national title company.

In his role as executive vice president of Land, Barry Dluzen is responsible for the identification of potential target lands in the United States and oversight of a team that generates market analysis, financial modeling, due diligence review, competitive intelligence and management of land acquisitions from feasibility through closing.

Mr. Dluzen brings more than 25 years of experience in the residential building and development industry to his position at Walton.

Ed Hadley is executive vice president of Builder Land Acquisition. Mr. Hadley’s role is focused on acquiring land on behalf of U.S. homebuilder partners using Walton’s Builder Land Financing strategy to support the building community’s growing interest to control future lot inventory. He works collaboratively with builders to allocate more of their capital to development and vertical construction, and helps manage the ongoing trend of housing demand outpacing lot supply by delivering land inventory to meet the demand.

Mr. Hadley is advancing Walton’s Builder Land Financing to be an industry leader in land option financing and an integral part of the U.S. homebuilding equation. With more than 12 years of experience in the homebuilding and real estate industry, Mr. Hadley held various senior-level roles throughout his career including senior vice president, West Region, USA at Walton and vice president of Land Acquisition and Entitlement at William Lyon and John Laing Homes in Arizona.

David L. Peter is executive vice president, Special Projects. David oversees a variety of large and complex assets across the Walton portfolio together with the Asset Management and Executive teams.

Prior to joining Walton, David served in a variety of key leadership roles as President of two Divisions of the Republic Family of Companies and as Chief Operating Officer of Geosam Capital US, both prolific and diversified private development platforms, where he led complex entitlements, transaction structuring and operations. Most recently, David was Vice President and Chief Development Officer for WBW Development, a vertically-integrated Texas-based finished lot development enterprise, where he helped to dramatically grow the portfolio and pipeline while expanding homebuilder relationships.

David holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the George Washington University and Juris Doctor degree from the Antonin Scalia School of Law at George Mason University. He is also a member of the Virginia State Bar and has been involved in a variety of advisory and volunteer boards.

Anthony Sparrow is senior vice president for Tennessee and Georgia. With a resume that includes more than 35 years of real estate and business management experience, Mr. Sparrow is a key member of Walton’s U.S. team. Prior to joining Walton, he served as Vice President of Development of the $1.5 billion North Carolina Research Campus for Castle and Cooke. In 2008, he formed Harvest Real Estate Advisors, where he placed or developed more than 1,000 residential lots. Mr. Sparrow also served as an executive at Crescent Resources, LLC, a development company in Georgia.

Jennifer Ruby joined Walton in 2013, and in her role as senior vice president of Land for Colorado she oversees asset management for approximately 15,000 acres. Prior to joining Walton, she gained experience in the land departments of several homebuilding companies. She holds an MBA from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. Jen serves on Maricopa County’s Planning and Zoning Commission as well as the Pinal Partnership Board, and she recently completed her tenure as Chair of the Women’s Leadership Initiative within ULI.

Adam Morman is senior vice president in the Mid-Atlantic region. Mr. Morman brings 20 years of experience in land planning and real estate development to his role at Walton, where he oversees 29 land assets on 14,000 acres of land across Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina and South Carolina. A licensed landscape architect and land planner, he previously worked as a Development Project Manager with Knott Realty Group, a commercial real estate firm in Baltimore, Maryland.

Rob Nixon is senior vice president, Canada. Mr. Nixon is responsible for Walton’s Canadian land assets, which includes pre-development land, residential and industrial master plan developments. He is responsible for leading the asset management and administration process in Canada from acquisition to disposition, including planning, design, engineering and construction. Mr. Nixon brings 15 years of experience in real estate construction, engineering and planning experience to Walton. Prior to joining Walton, he worked as a heavy equipment operator designing and constructing roads and recreational areas in the Canadian Rocky Mountains.

Mike Doherty is senior vice president, Land. He is responsible for land acquisitions in Florida and Georgia. Mr. Doherty finds and researches potential properties for Walton in these southern American states. He began his career with Walton in 1992, and has experience working in the company’s offices in both Hong Kong and Singapore.

Price Nosky is a General Manager, California

In this role, Mr. Nosky is responsible for the activities related to asset management in California including supporting the entitlement and acquisition process for residential, commercial and industrial projects including both new acquisitions and exiting developments.  He also collaborates with governmental agencies, landowners, farmers, project consultants, attorneys and other stakeholders.

Mr. Nosky joined the Walton in 2020. Prior to joining Walton, Mr. Nosky was vice president of Land Acquisition and Development for LGI Homes for the Arizona and New Mexico Divisions. His responsibilities included oversight of the land operations for LGI, comprised of land acquisition, land development and land entitlements. Price was ultimately accountable for the management of the land and development component for LGI’s 500 home-per-year operation.

David Carroll is general manager for South Central Texas. Since entering the real estate profession Mr. Carroll has been involved in the development of over $15.8 billion in assets within the United States markets. He has participated at various levels in the development and construction of multiple commercial mixed use assets and over 6000+ residential units in a 41 year tenure totaling more than 32.5 million square feet.

Mr. Carroll has also performed due diligence and market explorations throughout the United States and Europe and is available as a guest lecturer for real estate practicums around the globe.

As a guest speaker Mr. Carroll offers presentations on the economic value of design, urban planning and building a learn lead teach culture. His dedicated experience in the master planning, architectural programming and capital improvements of mixed use projects to encourage future growth and economic sustainability while maximizing land values, one acre at a time, are unsurpassed.

Rick Harcrow is General Manager, Florida region.  Mr. Harcrow is responsible for Walton’s Florida land assets including pre-development land,  planned developments and is instrumental in working collaboratively with homebuilder partners.  He is responsible for leading the asset management process from acquisition to disposition. His professional background includes more than 25 years of real estate and development management experience.   

Prior to joining Walton, he served as regional president for GreenPointe Holdings, LLC overseeing the  fast growing Florida West Coast market.  He also served as sr. vice president for Newland Real Estate Group, LLC managing projects and operations throughout the southeastern US.   Mr. Harcrow holds a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree and specializes in complex land planning and development matters.

Mara Sundquist is regional manager for Arizona. 

In his role as senior land acquisition manager, Brad Wiley is responsible for the identification and consummation of land acquisitions in Texas and Arizona. He is responsible for identifying acquisitions, negotiating land contracts, financial modeling, the management of consultants during due diligence and coordinating land closings. Mr. Wiley brings more than 20 years of experience in residential development to Walton.

Gary Tom is President of Walton International Group Limited in Asia. He is responsible for all Asia operations and offices, including strategic planning, establishing business relationships, budgets, and sales revenues. He has been with the Walton group of companies for over 20 years and before that worked in the oil and gas industry for 9 years. His formal education comprises of separate degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. He previously held licenses to market securities, mortgages and real estate in Canada.

With more than 19 years of experience in Walton Asia operations, Stanley Kung is responsible for providing strategic direction and leadership to the Operations Team. He guides departments as diverse as client services, finance, marketing, investment services, IT, and land services. In 2018, his role was expanded to include business development, particularly institutional and joint venture partnerships.

Stanley holds a Masters in Financial Management from London University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Ottawa, Canada.

James Buchanan is Senior Vice President of Walton Singapore. He is responsible for southeast Asia regional operations based out of the Singapore office. James has been with the Walton Group of Companies for over 12 years, based in Tokyo, Hong Kong and Singapore. Prior to joining Walton, James spent 8 years in Tokyo working in asset management, media and telecoms. He graduated from the University of Sheffield in the UK with a BA in Japanese and Korean Studies.

Tim has over 20 years in Financial Services and Real Estate, including the last 13 years with The Walton Group of Companies. Prior to joining Walton, Tim managed a book of private clients in Hong Kong, working for a regional Wealth Management firm. After 18 years in Hong Kong where he started his career with Walton, Tim relocated to Dubai in August 2019 to establish Walton’s first Middle East office, which also serves the African continent. Tim is responsible for overseeing the business activities, strategic planning and expansion of Walton’s distribution channels and liaising with media partners and other service providers to enhance Walton’s regional presence.

As Senior Vice President of Sales, Fenny is responsible for leading Walton’s ASEAN sales team. Fenny’s role is focused on training, planning, execution of sales strategy and opening new markets. Fenny joined Walton in 2003 and has a strong track record in sales and business development. Prior to Walton, Fenny had a successful career as an electrical engineer with a multinational corporation. Fenny graduated from Nanyang Technology University as an ASEAN scholar with a B. Eng. (hons).

Alice joined Walton in October 2020 as Vice President, Institutional Sales – Capital Market (APAC). In her role , she leads and executes fund raising strategy and cultivates Walton’s brand recognition within the institutional market in the APAC region. Since joinging Walton, Alice assists Walton in establishing relationships with institutional clients and will continue to work on various fund products for the company.

Prior to joining Walton, Alice held senior roles in various real estate asset managment, wealth management company and real estate consulting firms in China, Singapore and Hong Kong. She has over 20 years’ experience relating to the full cycle of real estate development, particularly in finance, capital markets, real estate investment and asset management.

Alice holds a Bachlor Degree of Business Administration, Finance from the Simon Fraser University of Canada.

Athena is responsible for driving collaboration and ensuring effective day-to-day operations for all departments supporting the northeast Asia regional operations and sales activities.

Her role is focused on prioritizing objectives and implementing scalable solutions to achieve organizational goals by refining policy and procedures, optimizing resources and operating systems, and ensuring training is appropriately handled on a company-wide level.

Athena joined Walton in 2010 and holds a Masters in Biochemistry from the University of Bath.
