Walton Completes Two Additional Full-Cycle Builder Land Finance Projects
Walton Global is pleased to announce the successful completion of two additional Builder Land Financing (BLF) projects — La Playa Commons, located in Northern California just outside of San Francisco, and Ellston Park, situated near Colorado Springs, Colorado.
In La Playa Commons, all homes have now been sold to homebuyers, marking another successful full-cycle project and demonstrating the ongoing effectiveness of Walton’s BLF strategy in supporting the development of new residential communities.
At Ellston Park, national homebuilder D.R. Horton has completed a bulk purchase of the remaining homes, bringing the community to a successful close after more than two years of steady progress.
Together, these projects represent Walton’s 8th and 9th fully completed BLF transactions, underscoring the continued momentum of the company’s Builder Land Financing program in delivering results for both builders and investors. With a total of 31 BLF deals closed to date, the program continues to expand across key U.S. markets and strengthen its role in providing innovative land financing solutions for the homebuilding industry.
“Completing La Playa Commons and Ellston Park further validates the BLF program’s ability to deliver consistent results in diverse markets,” said Paul Bae, Vice President of Portfolio Management at Walton Global. “These outcomes reflect our focus on structuring land financing solutions that help builders efficiently bring new communities to life while providing our investors with well-managed exposure to the residential housing market.”
Through the BLF program, Walton provides land financing structures that enable builders to develop and sell new communities nationwide, contributing to efforts to address the national housing shortage while maintaining disciplined investment performance.
Looking ahead, Walton is excited about the continued success and growth of the BLF program, including the recent launch of BLF Fund III, a $250 million offering targeting up to an 11.5% annualized return.
