The Walton Group of Companies announced that, on 2nd January 2019, Neil Narfason, joined Walton Global as Chief Financial Officer. In this new role, Narfason will lead the Finance & Accounting group of Walton Global. As a senior member of the management team, Neil will play a vital role in helping to shape the future of the Walton Group of Companies.
Before joining Walton, Neil was a Partner at Ernst & Young LLP and Deloitte Canada, two of the world’s largest accounting firms. He also held a senior position in PwC Canada prior to that. “With over 30 years of extensive experience in mergers & acquisitions, financial analysis, financial modeling, corporate financing and restructuring, we believe Neil is the best person to join our growing group at Walton and help us to realize our long-term growth strategy.” said Bill Doherty, CEO of the Walton Group of Companies. “Neil’s unique skill set and exceptional expertise will be an asset for Walton and we look forward to him joining our team”
Over the past two years, Neil helped Walton through a major corporate restructuring of its Canadian operations. With his advice and guidance, the company successfully emerged from the process and is now poised to return to growth.
