Walton Global Sells 146 Acres to D.R. Horton in Braselton, Georgia

The land is in Jackson County in the Liberty Crossing master plan community

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (June 28, 2022) – Walton Global, a real estate investment and land asset management company with US$3.6 billion under management, has sold 146 acres of land in Braselton, Georgia to D.R. Horton, the largest homebuilder by volume in the U.S.

The intended use for the land is for development of approximately 335 single-family homes for the master plan community of Liberty Crossing and will be completed in three phases. The first phase of development is projected to begin in the summer of 2022 with house construction slated to follow in the fall of 2023.

Horton has been a prolific builder in the Jackson County area, and we are excited to see their continued success in the development of the Liberty Crossing Master Plan,” said Anthony Sparrow, senior vice president of Tennessee, Georgia and the Carolinas for Walton Global. “Adding more homes to this area will help both homebuyers and businesses in this hot market.”

Liberty Crossing is a well-located master plan approximately 4 miles from the Chateau Elan Golf Course, Spa and Winery, which is one of the largest and most successful master plans in Georgia state. The property is also 14 miles from the Mall of Georgia and approximately 43 miles northeast of Atlanta. Situated near Interstate 85, Liberty Crossing also has easy access to major job centers.
