Walton Global Expands Leadership with Strategic Senior Hires in Capital Markets and Real Estate
Walton Global, a leading real estate investment, land banking and land asset management company, has announced the appointment of three senior leaders to support the firm’s continued growth across capital markets and real estate. Michael Richter and Brendan McLaughlin join Walton as Senior Vice Presidents, Capital Markets, and Marcus Goodwin has been appointed Senior Vice President, Real Estate (Mid-Atlantic).

Michael Richter, Senior Vice President, Capital Markets (West Coast)
Michael Richter is a seasoned financial professional with over 10 years of experience in capital raising, specializing in a wide range of investment products including Interval Funds, DSTs, Preferred Stocks, and Private Placements. He has a proven track record of cultivating strong relationships with Broker Dealers and Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs), with a particular focus on the West market. Known for delivering strategic solutions and building long-lasting partnerships, Michael supports Walton’s capital markets initiatives and investor relationships.
Prior to joining Walton Global, Michael served as Associate Vice President at Bluerock, where he focused on growing assets within California, Hawaii, and Nevada. Michael is based in Washington and earned a Bachelor of Business degree with concentrations in finance, real estate, and law from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.
Brendan McLaughlin, Senior Vice President, Capital Markets (Central)
Brendan McLaughlin is a highly accomplished Senior Vice President with a track record of more than 30 years dedicated to cultivating trust and delivering value-added solutions to clients and financial advisors. He is proficient across a broad range of financial investments, including Separately Managed Accounts, Life Insurance, Variable Annuities, REITs, and Reg-D offerings. Brendan is a seasoned business development leader and brings deep experience supporting distribution strategies and advisor relationships.
Prior to joining Walton Global, Brendan spent more than three years at The True Life Companies, serving as a Managing Director and Senior Vice President, National Sales Manager. Brendan is based in Texas and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Northeastern University.
Marcus Goodwin, Senior Vice President, Real Estate (Mid-Atlantic)
Based in Washington, D.C., Marcus Goodwin leads Walton’s real estate acquisitions, development, and asset management efforts across the Mid-Atlantic region. Marcus brings deep investment analysis, deal structuring and execution experience across a range of asset classes. Prior to Walton, he served as a Managing Director at Cushman & Wakefield, advising clients on leasing, acquisitions and dispositions. Marcus holds a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Studies from the University of Pennsylvania and a Masters in Real Estate from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design.
