Phase One of the Rock Creek Ranch West Master Plan to Deliver More Housing Units Along the Chisholm Trail Parkway
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – Walton Global, a leading asset management and global real estate investment company, is pleased to announce the successful sale of Rock Creek Ranch West, an 82-acre parcel located in Tarrant County. Sold to home builder D.R. Horton, this transaction represents the first phase of residential development of the 1,767-acre Rock Creek Ranch West Master Plan community.
“We’ve kicked off the crucial first step to bringing the Rock Creek Ranch West Master Plan to life,” said Doug Donald, Vice President of Real Estate for Walton Global. “We’re excited to support D.R. Horton as we work together to deliver an exceptional mixed-use community for Tarrant County residents.”
This mixed-use development is positioned just 19 miles southwest of Downtown Fort Worth along 1.7 miles of the Chisholm Trail Parkway toll road. Over the next decade, Walton Global and D.R. Horton plan to deliver 3,800 single-family homes, as well as another 2,000-3,000 multi-family homes – providing the community with a myriad of opportunities for both renting and buying.
Aside from the residential development parcels, there are approximately 400 acres within the Rock Creek Ranch West Master Plan designated for retail and other commercial mixed-use purposes, including office space.
Walton Global remains committed to delivering exceptional real estate projects and looks forward to the additional phases and continued success of the Rock Creek Ranch West Master Plan. This closing represents the first of many transactions slated to close at Rock Creek Ranch West, which is owned by Walton U.S. Land Fund 4. Walton is excited to see momentum picking up on sales for the fund, with distributions projected for investors as this project and others owned by the fund are sold to third parties through our flexible sales structures which offer just-in-time inventory solutions for builders and developers.
