SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (Oct. 31, 2023) – Walton Global, a real estate investment and land asset management company, today announced that it has acquired a 187.7-acre parcel located in Bolivia, North Carolina. The property, known as Mariners Reach, consists of 457 lots entitled for residential activity with development scheduled to commence in Q4 2023.

The Mariners Reach acquisition is an important milestone for Walton Global’s Builder Land Financing program, a new land investment business line that the company launched in 2020 that was established to help homebuilders across the country secure land supply and hold it until they are ready to build new homes.

“Walton Global is thrilled to embark on the next phase of the Builder Land Finance Program, beginning with the acquisition of Mariners Reach,” said Michael Slavotinek, Vice President, Asset Management for Walton Global. “We foresee a wealth of fresh opportunities that will benefit both investors and homebuyers proven by our track record under this program. Our continued collaboration with homebuilders will usher in an exciting era of growth and innovation for the real estate industry.”

Situated within Bolivia, about a 30-minute drive from Wilmington, Mariners Reach offers an assortment of housing options including townhome units, 55-foot lot single-family homes and 90-foot lot single-family homes. The community plans also include a pool with cabanas, a clubhouse, sport courts and a playground.

Mariners Reach offers a charming rural setting in the Myrtle Beach metropolitan area, providing prospective buyers the opportunity to enjoy an affordable and idyllic suburban lifestyle. It is strategically located near growing employment centers, essential amenities and recreational attractions making it an enticing choice for any homebuyer.

Bolivia has quickly become an attractive area to families and retirees alike due to the peaceful suburban environment, as well as a range of affordable housing opportunities. The area’s growth has been largely fueled by its proximity to the beach and its accessibility to major employment hubs in both Wilmington and Myrtle Beach.

Walton Global remains committed to delivering exceptional real estate projects and supporting regional population growth and demand by increasing the housing supply. The Mariners Reach property joins Walton Global’s 15 additional assets throughout North and South Carolina, and the company is continuing to search for even more land acquisition opportunities within the region.
