PHOENIX – Walton, a real estate investment and land asset management company with US$3.4 billion and more than 98,000 acres under management and administration in North America, recently announced the closing of 275 acres in the city of Concord in North Carolina. M/I Homes, a national home builder, acquired the property with plans for a residential development to be called Annsborough Park.

Located in Cabarrus County, the property sits approximately two miles from Interstate 85 and 6.5 miles from Interstate 485/Governor James G. Martin Freeway, which provides access to the Charlotte metropolitan area.

Walton’s General Manager of the Mid-Atlantic area, Adam Morman, said, “We could not be more excited to support M/I Homes to bring new homes to the city of Concord.” He added, “This area of North Carolina continues to grow and this community will be a great addition and supply needed home inventory.”

Annsborough Park will feature 300 single-family homes. The community will offer an amenity center with a pool, neighborhood pocket parks, stormwater quality ponds, and other natural areas.  Sales are expected to begin in mid-to-late 2022.
