Walton Development and Management has initiated the next phase of construction on Silver Peaks, a master-planned community located northeast of Denver in the Town of Lochbuie, Colorado.
Since 2016, 177 single-family lots have been delivered to D.R. Horton. The national home builder is currently selling homes ranging from 1,600 – 2,600 SF, priced from $317,000. There are currently more than 300 occupied homes within the Silver Peaks master plan, and the community will have over 2,500 homes at full buildout.
“With all the lots in the current phase sold and the next phase contracted by Horton, we are very excited about the progress at Silver Peaks,” said John Vick, President of Walton’s West Region. “The groundbreaking of Meadow Ridge Elementary School within the subdivision this year has helped to bring an increasing interest and momentum to the community.”
Walton is also currently managing another 100-acre project named Altamira, located less than 1 mile north of Silver Peaks. In the recent years, Lochbuie has become an ideal location for move-up home buyers who are attracted to better neighborhoods that offer country living with small town values, panoramic views of the Front Range and the convenience of being only a short drive to the city of Denver and the Denver International Airport. According to Vick, with the strong demand for finished lots in Lochbuie, all of the remaining lots at Silver Peaks and Altamira could be sold over the next few years depending on how quickly the builders move.
