WALTON GROUP ACQUIRES 1,445 ACRES OF LAND FOR NEW MASTER-PLANNED COMMUNITY

David Weekley Homes will be the builder of the final two phases of the Lakeland Heights neighborhood at Bridgeland. Three collections of home sites will be available in the neighborhood, with the new sections expected to debut in early 2018, according to a press release. The neighborhoods will have a walkable streetscape that blends with the community’s proximity to Lakeland Village Center and the new park will have both adult and children’s activities including bocce ball, corn hole, a playground and picnic pavilion.

The first residents have begun to move into the new master-planned community Parkland Village at Bridgeland. The MPC is located in northwest Houston. Beazer Homes was the first homebuilder to at Parkland Village in September and several other builders — including Coventry Homes, David Weekley Homes, Lennar, M/I Homes, Taylor Morrison, Trendmaker Homes, Village Builders and Westin Homes — will join later this year with the grand opening scheduled for early Spring 2018, according to BuilderOnline .

Lane Pearson of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate was named the Houston Association of Realtors/Fort Bend County Outstanding Realtor for 2017. As a top-producing agent since 1991, Pearson was recognized for her leadership and support in the local community, according to a press release.
