The Sunland Master Plan is located in the City of Eloy in Pinal County.
The Master Plan is located approximately halfway between Phoenix and Tucson, 9.7 km south of the Sunland Gin exit on Interstate 10 (I-10). Eloy is located in the center of the Phoenix-Tucson corridor just south of the cities of Maricopa, Casa Grande and Coolidge at the junction between I-10, which proceeds west to Los Angeles, and Interstate 8, which proceeds west to San Diego.
The current conceptual land plan provides approximately 1,262 acres of single-family residential and 126 acres of multi-family residential, which will accommodate 6,800 single-family units, 1,900 multi-family units and 40 mixed-use units. The Master Plan also offers commercial and retail opportunities, including 113 acres of commercial, 467 acres of open space and parks and over 75 acres for schools and civic spaces.
