The Lots on 44 Total Acres Are Designated for Residential Build

SCOTTSDALE (April 7, 2022) – Walton Global, a real estate investment and land asset management company with US$3.4 billion under management, has completed a two-phase sale totaling 65 lots in Morgan County, Georgia. The property is part of the Madison Lakes Master Plan, located approximately 1.2 miles south of Interstate 20, which provides direct access into Downtown Atlanta.

The land sold by Walton Global was acquired by D.R. Horton, the largest homebuilder by volume in the U.S.

“It is very exciting to have Horton in the Madison Lakes community,” said Anthony Sparrow, senior vice president of Tennessee and Georgia for Walton. “This will provide badly needed housing inventory in a market that has seen recent job growth and housing demand. Horton’s variety of housing product and superb marketing capabilities will be a great fit for the market and community.”

The purchased lots sit on 44 acres of land. The first phase of 40 lots closed in September 2021 and the final 25 lots closed on April 7, 2022.

The Master Plan is zoned Planned Unit Development (PUD), which allows for 1,471 single-family units. The majority of the Master Plan is undeveloped land consisting of 913 additional acres. The developed portion of the Master Plan contains 213 lots, open space, ponds and a recreational amenity, which includes a clubhouse, swimming pool, playground and tennis courts.

Walton Global continues to play an important role in administering land investment projects, and the company’s focus on high-demand real estate markets makes them a go-to for homebuilder and investor projects.
