On April 10, the firm held a launch event in Tokyo to begin sales of a new fund that invests in residential development land in North America.<\/em><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\"><em>Walton has invested in real estate across 41 cities in North America, managing approximately \u00a5710 billion\u00a0in real estate assets. Worldwide, the firm has offered fractionalized real estate investment products to roughly 88,000 investors. While Walton first entered Japan in 1998, its activities to date have primarily focused on institutional investors.<\/em><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\"><em><b>Launch of \u201cUS My Home Fund\u201d<\/b><\/em><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\"><em>The newly launched fund is called the \u201cUS My Home Fund.\u201d\u00a0All assets invested in the fund are U.S. single-family residential properties.<\/em><\/div>\n<ul class=\"elementToProof\">\n<li><em>The fund targets an annual fixed distribution of 5.5%<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Capital gains from property sales are expected to further enhance returns<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>The fund aims for a final annual return exceeding 10%<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\"><em>The fund is positioned as an alternative asset\u00a0for Japanese retail investors.
