The Prairie North Master Plan is located approximately 25 km north of Downtown Calgary. The Master Plan is north of the Stoney Trail Ring Road and immediately adjacent to Highway 566, a primary east-west artery.
The Master Plan will offer 145 acres of residential and commercial retail use in line with the City of Calgary’s North Regional Context Study which was adopted in 2010. The concept plan identifies a mix of residential uses including, high-density multi-family, townhomes, duplex, traditional starter homes, and others. Commercial opportunities are focused on the west side of the plan along 6th Street to capitalize on roadway access and visibility.
