Carothers Farms is located off Battle Road in Nashville, Tenn.Walton Global\u2019s Senior Vice President, Anthony Sparrow said, \u201cWe value the great relationship we have developed with Regent Homes while working on Carothers Farms and have been pleased with the land development and quality of homes built by them. We look forward to seeing the next phase of the development.\u201dCarothers Crossing is just 18 miles south of downtown Nashville and near Cane Ridge Park, a popular 281-acre public park.\u00a0 It is also connected to Interstate 24, which provides easy access to downtown Nashville and a quick minute\u2019s drive to Nashville International Airport. Additionally, the cities of Murfreesboro and Chattanooga to the east and the state of Kentucky to the west showcases the development\u2019s superior convenience.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCarothers Farms provides Regent Homes with the land necessary to fulfill our plan to develop a range of homes,\u201d said David McGowan,\u00a0President and Chief Manager of\u00a0Regent Homes.\u00a0\u201cWalton was extremely helpful during the entire land transaction including providing us with the information we needed upfront, such as the research data for entitlements including approvals on the infrastructure, so we didn\u2019t need to do the research ourselves and hire an outside source. We value our more than 5-year relationship with Walton and look forward to working with them in the future.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Carothers Farms will be a mixed-use development that will consist of condos, townhomes, cottage homes,\u00a0and executive homes ranging from the mid to high $200s to $600s. Regent Homes plans to develop a range of homes that\u00a0include attainable\u00a0prices to cater to buyers such as the millennials who are now getting married and searching for a residence. Regent Homes anticipates completing a total of 2,000 housing units in the masterplan, with\u00a0150+ homes\u00a0anticipated to be completed\u00a0and sold\u00a0in 2022.<\/p>\n<p>Since 2000, Davidson County\u2019s population has grown by 16% and is now home to over 650,000 residents.\u00a0 With a strong focus on public safety, public schools, and economic development, the region is vibrant with a diverse economy, a quality workforce, low taxes, and strong growth potential.<\/p>\n<p>Nashville is also home to the second-largest music production center in the U.S. and more than 300 health care companies.
