(March 24, 2021) \u2013 Walton, a real estate investment and land asset management company with US $3.39 billion under management is pleased to announce a significant distribution to investors totaling CAD $40.5 million. The distribution was approved on March 16, 2021 by the Walton-managed Roll-Up Corporation (RUC). The distribution will be paid to shareholders of RUC on April 8, 2021.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
RUC\u00a0was formed through the amalgamation of 134\u00a0Canadian pre-development land entities and has more than 27,000 shareholders.\u00a0The Corporation\u00a0collectively owns an interest in 21,533 acres of\u00a0pre-development land in key growth markets throughout the United States and Canada. This is the second distribution made to investors\u00a0in\u00a0RUC, with this distribution representing $0.60\u00a0per share.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
RUC investors have received a total of\u00a0CAD\u00a0$48.8\u00a0million\u00a0in distributions.\u00a0To date, the two\u00a0distributions\u00a0\u00a0 equal $0.71 per share and represents an approximate 8.4% per share percentage distribution based on the most recent per share price of $8.46.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
Strong\u00a0market activity and\u00a0progress\u00a0on the monetization\u00a0of RUC\u2019s assets over the\u00a0past\u00a0several\u00a0years, specifically in 2020, contributed to this\u00a0distribution.\u00a0The 2021\u00a0outlook\u00a0is\u00a0projected\u00a0to be\u00a0quite\u00a0successful in terms of exit activity and further monetization of assets\u00a0as RUC\u00a0continues\u00a0to execute\u00a0on\u00a0its\u00a0goals.\u00a0Currently,\u00a0RUC has\u00a0approximately CAD\u00a0$71.3\u00a0million\u00a0in deals under contract and an additional\u00a0CAD\u00a0$61.6\u00a0million in negotiated,\u00a0but not yet executed sale and\/or\u00a0option agreements.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
